RCAH Food Recovery Program is possible thru the efforts of TOUCH, BRIDGES and Meals on Wheels.
The BRIDGES' employee Larry, recovers and distributes food EVERY DAY from many supermarkets, box stores, farms and other food sources.
Since January 2021, BRIDGES has picked up and distributed over 300,000 pounds of food!!
We need YOUR HELP to keep this effort going thru 2021.

The RCAH Food Recovery Program began in 2018 recovering food from multiple sources including supermarkets, bakeries, local farms and farmers markets and distributing to many food pantries and feeding programs in Rockland. In the last 12 months, we have recovered more than 600,000 pounds of food and distributed it to over 30 food pantries and feeding programs in the County.
The RCAH Food Recovery Program is accomplished by these organizations that coordinate to recover and distribute food every day throughout Rockland County:
