Nutrition Classes
- Lose to Win (Nyack Hospital) - Nyack Hospital offers an 8 week weight loss program incorporating the latest guidelines on losing
weight safely and successfully. Lose to Win is open to adults 18 or older. Each class focuses on nutrition, exercise, and
behavior
change, and is designed to allow for discussion of participants' challenges and successes. Classes are conducted by trained Lose to Win Instructors. Yes to Fruits & Vegetables (JSY) is one of New York State's premiere nutrition
education services available to low income families. JSY is a nutrition education initiative designed to prevent overweight/obesity and reduce long term chronic disease risks through the promotion of
increased fruit and vegetable consumption. Using nutrition education workshops and food demonstrations, JSY works to ensure low-income families in New
York eat nutritious foods, make the most of their food budgets and prepare foods in a safe manner. Each workshop provides practical nutrition information using USDA approved lesson plans, recipes and
cooking demonstrations using fruits and vegetables.
- Breastfeeding Promotion and Support
Program provides breastfeeding counseling, presentations, support groups, and guidance for

Valley Pet Food Pantry -The Hudson Valley Pet Food Pantry was founded in 2010 as a non-profit
organization. It was established to help individuals and families who need assistance with feeding their pets because of job loss or
other hardship. We offer assistance to fixed-income senior citizens, the disabled, veterans, and others who qualify because they lack the financial resources to properly feed
