About Us
Rockland Community Against Hunger was founded in 2011 on the idea of bringing members of the community together in collaboration to address issues of hunger in Rockland County and help those in need.
Our team is made up of representatives for many food pantries and feeding programs, government agencies, community groups & the Food Bank of the Hudson Valley. We have come together to:
- Provide food to over 30 Food Pantries and Feeding Programs in Rockland
- Provide information, raise awareness and share ideas about Rockland County's food pantries and feeding programs
- Mobilize support and involvement in the community
- Encourage / Educate the community about better nutrition and healthy food
